I know that your nonprofit organization has a vision and a mission to help others and to give back to the world. I also know that finding resources to help you with your cause can be challenging and or expensive. That is why I have put together this list of FREE resources that I hope will help your organization.
Free Marketing Tools for Nonprofit Organizations
Google offers a full range of free tools for nonprofit organizations including Analytics, Search Console, Google Workspace for Emails. They also offer a $10,000 per month Google Ads Grant. If you are interested in discussing how this can benefit your business please contact me.
Buffer
Buffer is a social media management and scheduling tool. They have a free plan for 3 social media profiles where you can schedule up to 10 social media posts in advance per profile. If you do need something more, they offer 50% off all of their paid plans for registered nonprofits.
Canva
Canva is a graphic design powerhouse! Not only are there thousands of free templates for any graphic you might ever need to create, there are also a ton of free tutorials, education resources and more. I've been using Canva for over 5 years and highly recommend you add this to your nonprofit tool kit. Canva offers all premium resources for free just sign up here.
LinkTree
Is a free link creation tool that is commonly used on Instagram and TikTok to allow a mini landing page with website links to important information.
Free Stock Photos
There are quite a few websites that you can find high quality photos, graphics, and videos that you can use for your nonprofit. Examples include:
- Canva
- Unsplash
- Pixabay
- Freepic
Email Marketing
For email marketing I would suggest using either MailerLite or Mailchimp. Both have free subscriptions and both are easy to use. You can set up segment targets or "tags" so that you can email specific groups for example - volunteers.

Donation Software
Donorbox appears to be one of the most popular, powerful, free and easy to use donor management software. If offers crowdfunding, text to give, event management, membership campaigns and more. It easily embeds into most website builders, and allows donations in multiple currencies from multiple payment methods.
In Canada the most trusted donation software is CanadaHelps.org
CRM - Donor Management
Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack has been customized for nonprofits to manage and cultivate donor relationships. They offer a free version for up to 10 subscriptions for registered nonprofits.
Hubspot is another popular and easy to use CRM system which has a free subscription and would be a great choice for nonprofits.
SLACK - Communication
If you are looking for a tool for your nonprofit to help organize communication better than email consider trying Slack. Slack is more of a messaging tool where you can organize conversations into topics, groups, people and more. It is widely used by many organizations and businesses to stay on top of team communication.
